Production Technician

We are part of the SERVPRO nationwide Storm Team. The Storm Team is made up of the best of the best. When there is a severe weather event in any part of the country, we are dispatched to where we are needed the most. Our teams have traveled to places like Texas, South Dakota, and North Carolina and we’ll be ready to travel again when the time comes. When you travel with our Storm Team we cover all expenses, you earn a daily per diem, and you can earn over $30 an hour! 

RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Water extraction, light demolition, use of hand tools and power tools
-Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, products, and supplies needed for each project. 
-Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, equipment, and shop areas 
-Prepare rooms/areas for work activities. Set up staging area and equipment for each project.
-Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times.
-Communicate with crew chief and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes. 
-Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
-Perform production processes following SERVPRO® production guidelines as directed
-Inventory shop supplies on a regular basis and report on low inventory items to management
-Perform end-of-day/end-of-job cleanup and breakdown. Leave jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance.

REQUIREMENTS:

General Requirements:
-Valid driver's license
-Dependable, friendly, great attitude, effective oral communication
-Experience in water restoration preferred 
-IICRC certifications preferred but not required
-Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
-High school diploma/GED

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
-Be able to work in all climates
-Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
-Walking, standing, sitting or driving for long periods of time
-Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
-Ability to work in tight spaces
-Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects
